This policy explains what information FaderRider collects through this website, how we use it and the choices you have. FaderRider is a trade name of Mofetolu LLC, a Texas limited liability company ("FaderRider", "we", "us").

The short version: we only collect what you choose to send us, we use it to keep you updated and answer your questions, we don't use advertising or tracking cookies, and we never sell your information.

What we collect

  • Early-access list: your name, email address, the DAW and operating system you use, what you mix, and whether you'd like to join the beta test.
  • Contact form: your name, email address and your message.
  • Website visits: basic, anonymous visit information such as pages viewed, the referring site, browser type and country. This is collected by our analytics service without cookies and without identifying you.
  • Our emails: whether an email was opened and which links were clicked. Our email service records this so we can see what's useful to you and improve our emails.

Like any website, our hosting provider also handles technical information such as your IP address to deliver pages and protect the site from abuse.

How we use it

  • To send you emails about FaderRider launch news, beta testing and offers, if you joined the early-access list.
  • To choose beta testers and decide which DAWs and systems to support first.
  • To reply to messages you send us.
  • To understand how the website is used and improve it.
  • To keep the website secure and prevent spam.

The FaderRider plugins

The FaderRider plugins don't send any information to us. Your sessions, settings and presets stay on your computer. If a future version ever needs to connect to us, for example to check a license or look for updates, we'll update this policy first and tell you what it sends.

Cookies

This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. Our fonts are hosted on our own site, so your browser doesn't contact third-party font services when you visit.

Who we share it with

We don't sell or rent your information. We share it only with service providers that help us run FaderRider, and only as needed for them to provide their service:

  • Website hosting and analytics: to deliver and protect the website and provide cookie-free visit statistics.
  • Contact-form service: to deliver your messages to our inbox.
  • Email service: to manage our email list, send our emails and record email opens and clicks.
  • Email inbox provider: where we receive and answer your messages.

We may also share information if required by law, or to protect our rights, our users or the public.

How long we keep it

We keep early-access information until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. We keep contact messages for as long as needed to answer you and for our records, then delete them.

Why we use it (EU and UK visitors)

If you're in the EU or UK, we rely on your consent to send you our emails, which you can withdraw at any time by unsubscribing. We reply to your messages because you asked us to, and we run basic, cookie-free analytics and security because we have a legitimate interest in keeping the website working and safe.

Your choices and rights

  • You can unsubscribe from our emails at any time using the link in every email.
  • You can ask us to show you, correct or delete the information we hold about you by sending a message through our contact form.
  • Depending on where you live, you may have additional privacy rights under local law. We'll honor requests as the law requires.
  • If you're in the EU or UK, you can also complain to your local data protection authority.

Security

We use reputable providers and reasonable measures to protect your information. No method of sending or storing data online is completely secure, but we work to keep your information safe.

Children

This website is not directed to children under 13 (under 16 in the EU and UK), and we don't knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we'll delete it.

International visitors

FaderRider is based in the United States. If you contact us from outside the US, your information will be processed in the US and other countries where our service providers operate.

We may update this policy from time to time. We'll change the date at the top when we do, and let our email list know about significant changes.
